ShaBe is an anonymous, ephemeral discussion platform. To keep the network safe and stable, we enforce strict automated limits and ethical guidelines.
Ethical Guidelines
ShaBe relies on the community to self-moderate. Anonymity is not a license for abuse. We strictly prohibit the following content:
- 1. No Illegal Content - Do not post anything that violates international law, including CSAM, terrorism, or illicit trade.
- 2. No Harassment or Doxxing - Targeted abuse, bullying, or releasing private information (doxxing) is strictly forbidden.
- 3. No Spam or Self-Promotion - Do not flood channels with automated messages, advertisements, or repetitive links.
- 4. Report Abuse - Use the Report button. If any post or comment receives 5 independent reports, it is automatically and permanently hidden from the platform.
Automated Rate Limits
To prevent botting and DDoS attacks, strict rate limits are enforced. IPs are hashed locally using a one-way HMAC algorithm to preserve your privacy while tracking these limits.

File Upload Restrictions
- Images (JPEG, PNG, WEBP): Limited to 5MB per file and a maximum resolution of 16 Megapixels (~4000x4000). All EXIF metadata is automatically stripped and images are re-encoded to WebP format.
- Animated GIFs: Limited to 10MB per file. GIFs are uploaded as-is to preserve animations and prevent processing timeouts.
- Other Types: SVG, PDF, Video, and Executables are strictly blocked via magic-byte signature analysis.
